We were contacted early this morning by a customer whose BMW GS 1250R motorcycle had been stolen overnight from his driveway just south of High Wycombe.
Using the Automatrics MTrack system, we quickly received a live GPS position just a few miles from the theft site. Thames Valley Police were notified, and our expert tracker agent Danny was immediately dispatched to the scene to secure the stolen asset.
Danny arrived within 50 minutes, fully equipped to conduct a radio frequency (RF) search. The stolen £18,000 BMW motorcycle was quickly located, hidden under a cover in a communal residential parking area, a common “cool-down” spot used by thieves.
During the theft, the ground anchor security lock was swiftly defeated. After parking the bike, the offenders had removed the battery to disable all OEM and aftermarket security systems, but the self-powered Automatrics MTrack continued to operate without fault.
Police attended the scene shortly after, and with the support of our operations coordinator Jackie, the bike was safely recovered and returned to its rightful owner.
