At 9:30 AM, our client’s son reported their £60,000 Land Rover Defender 110 stolen during a burglary the night before. Upon receiving the alert, our team immediately sprang into action. We instantly saw that the tracker received a low battery warning 2 months prior and the customer had been notified. Luckily, using our GPS tracking system, we were still able to pinpoint the vehicle’s exact location in real-time. Clients’ son arrived at the GPS Location to find vehicle had its Number Plate changed by the thieves.
Once the vehicle’s location was confirmed, we promptly notified West Midlands Police. Unfortunately, due to priorities, the police were unable to immediately attend the GPS location, leaving the customer watching it from a safe distance. While waiting for the car, the vehicle was driven off by two Males. Due to this incident, we deployed our own agent to assist the recovery on site at the new location it had stopped a few miles down the road. Thanks to the combined efforts of our monitoring team on site, police, and the client’s son. The Land Rover was safely recovered at 2:00 PM the same day, and taken away at 4:50 PM for checking due to being involved in a burglary
